Papaya Lime Salsa
A fresh tropical salsa made with ripe papaya, lime juice, red onion, cilantro and a touch of chili.

Papaya lime salsa is a bright and refreshing recipe that combines sweet ripe papaya with tangy lime juice, crisp red onion and fresh cilantro. A small amount of chili adds gentle heat that balances the fruit's natural sweetness without overpowering it. This salsa works well as a topping for grilled dishes, tacos or rice bowls and can also be served with tortilla chips as a light appetizer. For the best texture, use ripe but firm papaya so the cubes hold their shape, and let the salsa rest briefly before serving so the flavors can blend.
