Hawthorn Berry Spiced Tea
A warm herbal-style drink made with simmered hawthorn berries, cinnamon, ginger and honey.

Hawthorn berry spiced tea is a warm fruit infusion that combines the pleasantly tart flavor of hawthorn berries with aromatic cinnamon and fresh ginger. The berries are gently simmered to release their flavor, then the liquid is carefully strained so the hard seeds and fruit solids are removed before serving. A little honey balances the tartness and creates a comforting drink that works well on cool mornings or evenings. For the best result, wash the berries thoroughly, remove the stems and avoid crushing the seeds while preparing the infusion.
